FAB FIND Friday! Well I was on my way to Safeway yesterday and I decided to take a quick detour downtown to the small town of Poulsbo, WA that we are living in.... boutiques, books, antiques....and I have not been in any of them since we moved. I'm on a bit of a mission. Once I receive my Free Spirit POSY fabrics from the mill, which should be soon, I may get some professional photos done of the fabric for marketing purposes and would like the photos somewhat styled so I need accessories for the photos! Here are my finds, not necessarily for the photos but they caught my eye for different reasons. First off.... I found a vintage Vera Neumann scarf (see her signature in the corner!) "Vera Neumann was an American artist and entrepreneur best known for her boldly colored linen patterns and scarves signed "Vera" - I thought it was a score at $1.50! The pretty pink planter is such a great color and could hold pens or a nice small succulent, and score again, it was signed by one of my favorite pottery companies of the mid century McCoy. Love their signature. "McCoy is a brand of pottery that was produced in the United States in the early 20th century. It is probably the most collected pottery in the nation." And lastly, I couldn't pass up the bright yellow cream and sugar especially because of the color. All in all it was $12 and I think I can use the planter and cream and sugar for future photos!
